Worthing Pavilion Bowling Club Today (Click here for the club history) |
Our membership is varied, consisting of juniors, men and ladies; we also have provision for visually or physically impaired bowlers. This mix of experience is backed up by qualified coaches so that we are able to extend a warm welcome to bowlers of all abilities. We welcome children from the age of 10+, the outright novice in need of tuition, the social bowler wishing only to participate in roll-ups or spoon games, or someone who is interested in improving their playing technique or the very experienced bowler seeking competition at the highest level. Membership opportunities exist to join this very friendly Club. We, also, welcome social members who can use the bar and the newly refurbished dining facilities and join in the many social activities.

Worthing Pavilion Bowls operates through out the whole year (except for Christmas day Boxing Day and New Years day): the outdoor season, late April until the end of September, from two six rink greens, which are maintained by our own grounds man (Vince) to the highest standard (often stated by others to be the best greens in Sussex)
Vince carrying out his regular daily cutting and inspection of the greens to
ensure they are kept up to his and the club’s high standard.
Although you can bowl all year around indoors, the winter season runs from October to April using six air-conditioned indoor rinks
